Laura Markham is a clinical psychologist, parenting coach, and author known for her expertise in peaceful parenting. She earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Columbia University. Markham is the author of the best-selling books *Peaceful Parent, Happy Kids: How to Stop Yelling and Start Connecting*, *Peaceful Parent, Happy Siblings: How to Stop the Fighting and Raise Friends for Life*, and *Peaceful Parent, Happy Kids Workbook: Using Mindfulness and Connection to Raise Resilient, Joyful Children and Rediscover your Love of Parenting*. Her books have been translated into 25 languages.
