Kim Scott

Kim Scott is the author of *Radical Candor: Be a Kick-Ass Boss Without Losing Your Humanity* and *Just Work: How to Root Out Bias, Prejudice, and Bullying to Build a Kick-Ass Culture of Inclusion*. She’s also the co-founder of Radical Candor, Inc., a company that helps people build better relationships at work.

Before becoming an author and entrepreneur, Kim worked at Google and Apple. At Google, she led a team of AdSense customers and later worked on YouTube and DoubleClick online sales teams. At Apple, she designed and taught a management class called “Managing at Apple” at Apple University.

Kim’s experience in Silicon Valley led her to develop the philosophy of Radical Candor, which encourages managers to care personally and challenge directly. She argues that building trust and open communication is essential for creating a positive and productive work environment.

Kim is passionate about helping people avoid the mistakes she made early in her career. She shares personal stories and practical advice to help managers create a culture of guidance, build cohesive teams, and achieve results. Her work has been featured in various publications, and she is a sought-after speaker and consultant on management and leadership.
